even though this entry is past our deadline, I was looking through all of my journals to reflect back on where I have been through out this class. I also have to add, these are my "normal" homework hours. In the peace and quiet after everyone else has gone to bed and I can truly think and ponder.

I think I achieved our goal of showing a progression of thought processes and understanding through my journals. This is not to say that at times I have been extremely frustrated. I think these events occurred more at the beginning of the class and I learned, hey, learning theory, to perservere and work through it and come up with a definition and understanding of the theory, how they arrived at it and my job to critique and either agree or disagree. I have to admit there were few theories that I could totally disagree with.

I have enjoyed the process of becoming a better worker within the criminal justice system by knowing and understanding some of these theories. Expanding my mind and thought processes and being more understanding of classmates who may have conflicting views.
